Glossy film, also known as glossy film: From the surface color can be seen, glossy film is a bright surface; transparent and bright after lamination.

Matte film: From the surface color can be seen, matte film is a foggy surface; after lamination, it has a matte, sandblasted matte surface; generally, use it for the cover and belly film of flat paper materials, such as business cards, books, albums, posters, color boxes, etc. The belly film should not be used partial belly film, if you need to achieve the effect of partial belly film, you can use other processes, such as UV, oiling, etc! There are also other films made of PVC material, which are generally less mass-produced and rarely used by users.

Glossy film can usually be effectively distinguished from the surface of the printed. After lamination, the surface of the album will be very bright and has a very good glossiness.

The surface effect of the matte film is foggy. The why it shows this state is that it uses a matte sandblasting process during lamination, so it looks more artistic. And it feels a bit bumpy, not as smooth the glossy film.

It is understood that, in the printing process, BOPP film is often used. Its film component is made of BOPP   EVA doublelayer composite film. Both glossy and matte films use this material, but the operation process is different in the later stage. However, it is not too complicated. Enterprises can choose with or without glue layer according to their own needs. In addition, the glue layer can effectively guarantee the durability of the album. In the long run, it can save costs the enterprise.

In addition to glossy and matte film, other processes can also be used, such as UV coating, hot stamping, etc. UV coating can make printed more durable, while hot stamping can effectively enhance the luxury of printed matter, but the price will be relatively expensive. If the enterprise has no special needs, the process of glossy matte film can effectively enhance the texture of the album.
